BRT, Proably the easiest way is to goto the map shop and buy a master sheet. This lists every map in VIC with there map numbers.
I realise you probably want to get rid of all paper maps, but this will be the easiest.
Unless some one has scanned a copy of it. But I aint got one. So if you find it send it to me.

when you fire up oziexplorer it should find the map based upon your co-ordinates.

With Oziexplorer there are several ways.
If you can find a map of Victoria, calibrate it for Oziexplorer and put the map file in the folder for index maps. Then open the index map (from map menu) and click the mouse on the map that you want to open.

Or use a map of Victoria and right click at the point of interest to load a map at that point.

Use the name search facility - some people have done a lot work on name search databases for Ozi and made the freely available.

I haven't gone into much detail because the help is quite good.

The OziUsers-L yahoogroup is an excellent resource for Oziexplore users.

Use Oziexplorer's name search. For a general australia wide names index, unzip this file into c:\oziexplorer\name search\
then in ozi, click the 'name' icon at the right hand end of the toolbar, and load the 'australia place names' file.
Type a place name in, double click and oziexplorer will list all the maps you have of that place. Double click a map to load it.[/url]
