A coilover option

Instead of going the $$$ route of coilovers what about using
these http://www.polyperformance.com/fox_shocks.htm

They are about $120 USD cheaper than a coilover shock plus
you still need to buy the coilovers. They seem to be soft and long
enough for the Zuk. They should fit nicely as they are basically
just the size of a shock. Would give great approach/departure
angles no shackles to hang up on.

I'm assuming you're talking about their air shocks???

Any more info around on these?

yes I am . I just stumbled across these and was hoping some one might have a bit more info.

Another option would be the nitrogen shocks that Randy Ellis in the US was using on his green Zuk. Basically he had a 2 link rear using the nitrogen shocks quite effectively

they are cheap to buy, difficult and expensive to set up.

they aren't really designed as primary suspension and would be better for a light rig.

search for team purple and air shox on pirate and there is a bit of tech about them in two recent threads.

thanks for links on Pirate NAM very intersting. If you could get them setup properly could be very good on a Zuk
