Ok well its now the time to turbo a TB42.
Its a Gas/Petrol Carby one, I have aquired a TD42 Factory Turbo and Manifold.
1) First can you lower the Boost on the factory turbo?
2) If i wanted to run sayt about 5-6PSI, would i have to decompress the head?

not really the right turbo for a petrol engine, diesels run a fairly small turbine when comparing engines of the same capacity, it may overspeed the turbo and restrict exhaust flow, just look into it a little before you spend too much time.

Would it be relatively easy to adapt any other turbo (common - like a gt30/40 or similar) onto a TD42 manifold? (to use on a TB42...)
/hijack off
I'd agree with Brunsy, the diesel turbo wouldn't be very efficient on a petrol motor. I'd suggest it'd be ok up to 2-3000rpm but would probably run out of breath after then.

Or run straight gas i'd suspect. I doupt you could get petrol working well with a turbo+carby, yet again dual fuel.

EDIT: Just found this. Could prove valuable.

Yes gunna swap out the Carby manifold for a EFI one and get all the equipment to run Dual fuel still, shouldn't be too much of a hastle, Loom, Computer, Injectors and EFI chamber should be it i hope

Mav, was looking at that, but the cost was gunna cost me too much, and to be honest, i love the TB42 motor too much, EFI will do me with LPG and Turbo
