You can buy urathane bumpstops that have larger compression lengths, cant remember where ive seen them

Pnumatic are awesome if you enjoy launching your rig

Does any other vehicles have those ones that are like softer at the top and then taper down to being harder?

Thinking of when on the beach i have launched of unseen ridges and be good to have some compression before the bend.

cheers

Just something interesting I read about these bump stops. Since they are so long you need to avoid lateral loads on them, or they wont last.

And I am also trying to track down some bumpstops from other vehicles. Rodeos & Pathfinders might be donors. Check it out:

Went & picked up some bump stops this arvo. Originally went to the wrecker to get some off a Pathfinder they had there, but one of the wheels was still on it and it was hard to get to. I did have a look at the Pathfinder ones and they were pretty bulky, and the mounting plate was a wedge shape, so it would put the bumpstop on an angle if you mount it direct to the bottom of the zook chassis rail.

What I ended up with was the rear bump stops off a 92 model 4 door Jackaroo. This is what they look like:
