found 2 larg craks on the driver seat mounts,
is it easyer to try weld up the cracks or just simple to get a whole new seat?

if so who know where to get a seat?

They all do it, which makes replacements hard to find. Best bet is to weld them up; it's not that hard.

Us patrol drivers tend to be on the heavy side, I guess ;)

Ah. a lightweight.

also look at the mounts on the floor itself, they tend to crack lots.

Basically anything to do with my 88 shorty's seats has been welded twice. Mounts and seats themselves everything has cracked. Time for new gear I would imagine...

managed to weld it up, found the seat to be cracked in 2 places
and the floor mount that bolted was loose also all is well ,

the weld wont be cracking anytime soon :) made sure of that
