T-case torque rotation
Which way does the T-case try and turn (when looking from the front) under torque when driving forward??
When i work it out in my head im thinking it trys to turn counter clockwise (lift up on the single mount, and push down on the double mount).
But when looking at the way the mounts are set up im thinking clockwise, i would think Suzuki would use common sense and maximise strenght by making it pull up on the double mount and push down on the single mount.
Any one know for sure?? im making up a new mount/ bash plate using the tcase ring and want to get the chassie mounts set up right.

If i remember rightly the long side gets all the torque as this is the one that bends. I have broken a couple of these long side mounts at the free end.

Has any one seen or heard of the rubber mounts ripping in half eg pulling the studs out of the rubber block, how strong are they, just seem to here about the arms bending and with strenghted arms u here the cases cracking open.
would like to re use the rubber mounts if possible, just set them up so it is compressing the mounts both sides instead of compressing one side and pulling the other.
Whats a mount worth? I need one more

They are weak. I have busted a couple. I have been using a bolt with shock rubbers in there as cushion. Markil was using early cortina engine mounts.
The factory mounts are relying on a bit of glue on the end of the metal tabs.

Yeah it is common for them to break in half. Common thing to do is put a bolt through it and lay some conveyor belt rubber in between.

Or you could buy a transfer ring off chris(ROC70Y) and finish it off and do the job properly once.
Ill get more pics when its back in his buggy but the LH mounts are not going back to the LH rail as it has a section of cage work right above the transfer that i can mount it to.

yep as chop said it extends the single mount
ive ripped about 4 or 5 in half
dont rip them anymore tho ran a bolt with 3 bits of conveyour belt throug it

Mine will look something like that as i will be using angle iron on the ring which will bolt to some angle iron that will be welded to the chassis, with rubber between the 2.
