OK so I have myself a new Triton GLX-R. And I love it...
The power, carry, tow etc is great...

But I been thinkin....
(Yes doing this at work on night shift so handbrake doesn't catch on...)

I have already dinged the runnin boards, (saved the body work so that's all good)...
Tyres are stock roadies, (actually OK on dirt, hopeless on rocks and the rest)...
Suspension travel limited...

If you wandered around in my shoes, (God only knows why you would, they pong), what would you think of doing/changing and who would you suggest to do?

Prefer professional work as have limited equipment/tools and experience...

Don't want to go nuts, it's a weekday runner as well, just improve the capability some without scaring the missus or the next doors dog...

I'd do a lift and put some 33's under the truck its pretty cheap and easy, later down the road you can always add a locker, bull bar, etc it all begins with a lift and tires

then follow up with antisway disconnects/articulator in the front.
what load capacity do you need in the rear?, remove/reverse a couple of leaves to allow more flex

Sorry to hijack but will 33's fit under a '99 triton with a 50mm suspension lift? I have done a search but nobody seems to know or have tried it. I know that BFG make muddies that are 33X10.5X15- these are narrow enough not to rub on the inner guards but I'm not sure whether they will fit within the wheel arches.

33's will only just fit, but you cant trim the bumpstops and turning may be affected at articulation
stick to 32's.
32's wont mess with the power to much either as it is for towing and a dayly driver

i fitted a blue max kit to mine a few months back
and a set of mt/r's it goes great guns now altho i wish i got efs suspension as i just fitted them to my bros challenger and they are a better finish product
