Yes Ive done it and they are worth every cent spent on them, in my humble opinion. They are fitted to my GQ
Took about a week to get used to the new light as its completely different from the orginal yellowish white light but I'd never go back to them ever, also fit the wiring harness upgrade.

I have also done the upgrade with the lights from Ebay, Quick, easy to do and the light output is far better thant he sealed beam ones that are std on the GQ

What are the lights like on wet days. I read that becasue they are so white, that on dark wet nights the light is not as affective. Is this your experience?

I agree with fnq the housing and lens are fine.
The blue bulbs are junk though pithe them and use a 100w high beam with the proper wiring and they blaze

Thanks for the link, just ordered a loom.
I am running some great Philips bulbs from Autobarn and use the crystal lenses, which I recommend if your lenses are worn or broken. Better than factory or Hella.
