my rear axle

question ? where in melbourne can i get my axle oil seals done for a low $$ iv already done inner seals on both sides, but need to replace the outer oil seal behind the bearing? and i need the bearing pressed on and off any help will be good

the outer seal is only a grease in and dirt out seal, there shouldn't be any oil in there. How much play is there in your wheel brgs.

honestly i cant notice anything, i replaced the inner seals but i still got oil all over my raer disc pads, thought it could of been outer seal

i just done wheel bearings and seals in mine, piece of piss, i'd do the lot at once for piece of mind, bearing kits were $30 each, and took about 15minutes a side

will be ur inner seal matey. very easy to damage when putting axle back into diff housing. for oil to be on ur pads it has to get past ur inners first so these must be the culprit. check ur axles as they may be slightly worn and need a speedy sleeve. also check ur breather hose for obstruction, forcing oil past ur seals.

The speedy sleve is a press on hollow sleeve that brings the old axle back to the original or slightly bigger diamitor. If there is a groove worn in the axle from the seal, the sleeve gives the seal a new serface to run on and seal teh oil in the diff. Hope this helps
