Outer Limits 4x4 Board

On my 100 Series my oil pressure warning light is coming on when the gauge is reading slightly under half, under normal idling the gauge sits very close to this point but the light only comes on some times. It's a 1HZ. Any one got any ideas

its not a low oil level light is it? They look the same but have a line under the oil container picture.
