ford xf carby on a GQ

Some one told me the other day that these will bolt straight on that they run better and more economically can anyone confirm tis for me

Very good question. I want to know as well (maybe start a huge rush on XF carbys).

what about a EA throttle boby injection carby

ea throttle body fits i did it to mine. the mounting holes need elongation only. i would expect the inlet manifolds to be the same on carb/tbi so xf should fit.

What's it run like with the EA carby on it, and how do you hook up the wires for the electronic metering, any info you could share would be grateful

how will the xf carb go on hill climbs etc seeing as its design isnt for four wheeling. ANY INFO ON THE EA SINGLE POINT system would be great,ie computer complexity etc.

At a guess I'd say no good offroad without mods.

the xf carb will work ok on angels up to 30degrees from memory

Is the XF carby opening the same i.e. can i use the same air cleaner?etc.
