Outer Limits 4x4 Board

How do I remove these buggers? They are what hold the stocko plastic flare on. Can't see any bolts or screws, so are they glued on and just need to be pried off?

I am making up some chequer (sp?) plate sill guards for a bit of bling and tiny bit of protection.
