Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey i have a 91 maverick. everytime i lock my hubs in and put it in 4x4, i drive a little bit on sand and the front right hub snaps out. it still says its in the lock position but i just lose drive to that wheel after a snap type noise. any ideas what this would be. I have regreased the hub and all the teeth look fine. thanks

Might be the ball inside the locking mechanism releasing, or possibly the drive clutch is loosing grip. Totally strip it down and see, also might be a CV joint letting go.

dont put too muche greese in there, as this can cause the hub not to engage..

swap it with the other side to check it is the FWH
