Automatic Transmission

Post by Mick »

I have an Aisin 4 speed automatic with model no. 03-72LE. It's out of a Vitara. I wish to run a Sierra transfer case. With the Vitara transfer case removed the output shaft has no support. Does anyone know what other model Aisin with I can adapt to the back of my automatic gearbox to give the output shaft support?

Let me know I'd be interested in this one too as was looking at the Sierra transfer case route, but on a manual.

Need some way of bringing down gearing in both high and low. With the pass through high on the Vitara transfer case a Sierra transfer case swap looks like the best option, especially since i may be swapping axles at some point so a Ring and Pinion swap may be only temporary.
