info needed please on which cruisers had 3.7 diffs

hey guys im newish to the 4wd thing and am chasing a set of 3.7s to go into my 60 series but im not sure which vehicles had them so any info will really b appreciated cheers.......

I beleive they were in the early 3spd cruisers but im almost certain they are all the course spline pinion type which are not all that strong.

do u know if there are any aftermarket alternatives........its a tow vehicle that i use for everyday running around and im not particularly hard on it but i do tow my quick car with it and dont like slowing down for hills so it will get full throttle in say 3rd and 4th and its got good torque and about 230 fwkw
