Jake havent seen any except Bunderas, but I think they sell them new in Japan and France.I think there is 2 ways you could go about it.
1 Get the parts off a bundera donor vehicle and use heavier springs to compensate for the extra weight of a landcruiser.
2 Use the diffs coils ect of a 78-79 series. The front end off a 78-79 is a independant set up borrowed from a 100 series. I think using this option would make your middy 40mm wider which means bigger rubber
Also have a look at

It takes a while to load but has some good shots

Area54 are you sure there is a coily 73/Middy???? I don't think there is. you can get a FRP /soft top bundera (ie 2.4 4 cylinder, 8" diffs, hilux gearbox) but the 73 (3B, 13B-T diesel or 2F/3F? petrol) FRP only comes with leafs and 9.5" cruiser diffs.
Jake are you sure you want to convert to coils, good results for less dollars with a springover set up correctly. to get good articulation out of coils you'll need to go to a 5 link front and A-frame 3 link rear, and throw buckets of $$ at it to get it right. or just stick some longer shackles in, do a 2" body lift, 35" tyres, lockers and there's not much you won't be able to drive.
cheers Brian

go for option B then - shackles, lockers, body lift, 35's. though I bet all that is iillegal in Qld too right?
for that matter isn't any lift over 2" above factory height illegal in Qld too?
move to NSW or get an 80 series ;)

jake put a turbo on it. you be surprise at how much more power it puts oout. mine only runs 4 psi of boost till i get it tuned then im turning it up to 8 psi boost. i run 33 with standard diffs pushes it along fine. my turbo cost 800 from a wrecker, and that was complete. its and after market one. but i was trying to get on of a 13bt.

The 78/79 series are not independant. They are solid axle, although coil sprung.
I run 35's on my 3B without any problems. There is a drop in power but it doesn't cause too many problems. Fuel consumption was the biggest noticeable difference. Think about running longer springs. Wont give you any lift but will improve your ride and give better flex. I swapped in longer back springs and it increased the wheelbase 2 inches. You'll need the driveshaft lengthened as well

I agree, your 3B should turn 35's fine, and those motors turbo up very nicely. of course the 14 or 15 B-T would be better still but hey how much do you really want to spend?
