Exhaust Fix in Lilydale thats where i got mine done

Just make sure who ever you get a quote off they quote the same parts.

As with mine I wanted the following
1. double flex joint
2. mandrel bends
3. 3 part exhaust system (allows for old system to be put back on)
4. new improved cast dump pipe.

Yello Rangie mine was bought from Beaudesert Exhaust Systems and wsa sent to Westen Victoria arriving in three days. It ended up cheaper than they quoted for some reason. Fitted it on Christmas night including the three inch dump pipe. It is a four part system inclusive of the dump pipe and all mandrel bent.

It has done wonders for my GU ute that is pretty heavy with the camper aboard. :D

You will be amazed how restrictive the original Nissan exhaust dump pipe is :bad-words:

I am surmising, the wifie organised it for my Christmas pressie. I just fitted it. It arrived lower than expected and quicker too.

Bolted to the spot without a hammer being used except the handle as a lever. I was rapt you may imagine especially when I found the 0 -> 100 kph times dropped by 16% and hills locally that I dropped to 3rd gear now taken in top. This is a GU 4.2TDi too with a heavy load of a camper box....

do you really need a mandral bend on a diesel 4wd?

IMHO its a waste of bucks. Maybe on something thats very high performance, or where 10ths matter, but not a diesel... it would save you heaps too

What about these straight-through mufflers?

Is that the way to go, or just straight pipe?

Two exhaust places have said it sounds better with the straight through muffler, but hey,??

I had seen the docket Linc and it was lower than they had quoted as I understand. I didn't want to embarrass anyone on it though. It was apparently teriffic service delivery too.

amazed how easily it fitted to position - apart from the dump pipe :P
