80 series front springs aren't the same?

I have 2 pairs of 80 series front springs, and the springs within each pair are different...

In both pairs one spring has about 60 degrees of a loop more than the other. This spring is slightly higher also by about 5 - 10mm.

So are they made differently for a reason? Maybe the weight of the driver? Or is it just chance?

The fact that both pairs are like this makes it seem like they're made this way.

nope not kidding at all ,the taller set go in the p/s and shorter in the drivers i think thats how it goes from memory

due to the road sloping/camber for the rain to run off

Early 3/90 - 8/91 and then later 9/91 onward coils are different.

Like BBM Rick said, and I would assume the longer one would go into the drivers side to compensate for his/her butt.
