Coverting from carby to EFI on G13B

Post by shezzbeav »

Hi there,

I've got a G13B engine for my zook, however, I was wondering if it was possible to covert it from carby to EFI?

Has anyone done it before? What are the costs of the conversion?

Thanks in advance.

sure is possible. just sell your G13B and buy a G13BB out of a jimny. Factory EFI, and it bolts into a sierra. :D

as above i would have to agree with gutless..

but if you dont want to go that way you can get the single point injection from either a vitara or a sierra both being imports(or a very very limited no from aus)cost can be anywhere from a few hunge to over $1000 depending on what is available, what you need and what they feel like charging at the time.

i wired up a loom for RHETT from a mazda bubble car. rhett did have to make a adaptor plate to fit the throttle body onto the sierra manifold but said it was not too hard. this only cost him around $300 (labour not inc.) from memory and goes like stink.
