GU Questions

I have done a search but havn't come up with much for these questions:
I have a Jan 1999 DX GU TD - no turbo wagon. Ex Telstra - done 270,000k now- got it with 250,000.
(1) What recalls would effect this vehicle - It has 1 recall sticker on it 4/4/04 I think- can't read the number on it though.
(2) It has done a fair bit of work but seems to be maintained really well mechanically, this morning I did the valve clearances and noticed it looks like one of the rockers has been replaced, why would this be done? Also is there anybody that has a lot to do with nissan that could tell me what would have been done to a factory serviced 250k old vehicle - eg, injectors, pump, bearings etc. It blows no smoke- doesn't get hot, and although rattlely, drives really well although underpowered at standard TDs are. I have the service book for it showing KM services but not what was done.
(3) When the vehicle is new, does it have writing (eg - numbers) in texta written on parts- or is it likely these parts have been replaced?

Im just trying to find out what has been done, and what I should be looking at on the car,

Thanks in advance,

not sure on recalls....telstra vehicles often get a hard time hence the replacment parts, most OE dont have texta writing on them

some mechanics, write on parts in texta normally dates or km readings, but spare parts guys also write on their goods,

all depends on what written on them,
