GQ Roof Racks

OK. It's time to invest in a set of 2nd-hand roof racks for our Maverick (GQ) LWB Wagon. Will only be carrying a travel roof pod, or fishing rods etc.

Does anyone have a preference for Rola, Thule or Rhino?

I have used Rola heavy-duty racks on my Mitsubishi Challenger, but these were track mounted whilst the scout GQ is gutter mount.

Preferences please from your experiences.

Thanks.

i would suggest the rhino racks. Being a plumber we use a similar type of chanel so you can get brackets and clips and allsorts of things to bolt different stuff down from reece plumbing supplies or somewhere similar.

I like the Rhino too, as the gutter mounts look to be very strong. And as you say, it's not just the racks but all the brackets & clips etc you can get that are designed to make life easier.

Sorry Thule, but I was not impressed with your gutter mount.

Anyone selling a set of Rhino's for a GQ Patrol/Maverick?
