I know not many of you guys have any experience with this engine but what the hell ...
I just got a new engine after the old one blew the head.
New engine has a new head, have done 180.000 km.

Engine hesitates from 2000 to 3000 Rpm.
When you acc. hard upto 3500 - 4000 Rpm. then shift it sort of dies, no power, take your foot of the gas and back on it comes back, but no "real" power (I know the 2.8 isnt a power house:).

Things i have done/tried.
Changed fuel filter.
Cleaned connection at the pump.
Checked the fuel line for damage.
Had a short run without airfilter.

None of these things did any difference...

Things ill try tomorow.
Direct fuel line to the pump from a jerry can or something.
Giving it a little more fuel on the pump ?

Any sugestion would be greatly apreciated !

Look for a split in the hose from the turbo to the boost compensator
:?: :?: :?:
As you have already checked the air filter it must be either turbo or fuel
