getting a soft top made for sierra

okay i saw this soft top on ebay, no longer there and i cant find the user who sold it


basically it was a soft top in 3 (or 2?) peices...
Basically made it look like a ute

instead of the normal soft top that goes

Any one know of a place in melbourne where to get them made, or how much aprox?
i think on ebay it was either like 3 or 5 hunj

i think you're referring to a "duster" style top that follows the shape of the body??? the other type is a fastback, where rather than a 90 degree angle of fabric down the back, its 45'ed from the targa to the tailgate...

I prefer the first one because it means you can take the flat bit off over the tub section to carry bigger stuff whereas the other one is abit more limiting in using the space

If down the track you get a rollbar just take the top to an upholstere. I had a tonneau modified years back for a rollbar and it didn't cost too much and they did a great job trimming the cutout section and adding velcro tabs to keep it all tight

They were canvas tabs contacted with velcro strips. Never had any dramas with water leakage through the tonneau unless it sat for awhile and water pooled in the middle and you drove off around a corner the water sometimes came in that way but falling rain or water splashes didn't seem to make it in

that maroon top is absolutely MINT! i love it... as is the bestop one.

Me think ill have to invest in one of these myself!

Yeah I like the bikini top section on that maroon coloured one too.
I was thinking about getting one (but in black) for my zook.
Im just wondering whether a local upolsterer could whip something up cheaper.
