Simon, Put the blocks above the mounts so it goes body, body lift and mount. Hope this helps.

Quick hijack, if I do just a 1" bodylift, i.e. use the existing bolts, do I still need it engineered in VIC?

I think I can get away with 1" to fit 31's on my Feroza.

yer...put the lifting blocks above the OE rubber blocks. Just hope you dont get an idiot like I did when I went for approval through Qld DoT.

He counted the OE spacer as part of the lift and therefor deemed I had lifted my truck 70mm instead of the max allowed 50mm. IDIOT!

I ended up getting a letter from the senior inspector saying that it was legal and he could not knock it back on those grounds. I showed this IDIOT the letter and he ate humble pie...How sweet it was! Still didnt fully admit that he was wrong though....

IDIOT!

Don't body lift just trim your gaurds, then you can lift it with suspension and tyre diameter. If you are only allowed 6 inches all up don't waste it on a non performance enhancing body lift. TRIM EM

From what ive heard getting the actual lift passed is not hard it is the fact that they inspect the whole car for any possible defects while they are there that causes the problems and makes many people not bother..
