Please excuse my lack of knowledge, but could someone please explain what these black boxes labeled 'fuel' and 'comp' are, their purpose, where they go etc.

I know this is a stupid question, but I am a beginner... I thought that posting it in this forum might shine some light on the subject....

engine conversions > more pics > bottom left -( photograph of firewall)

they are relays (which by those labels) switch a supply for the fuel pump and for the ecu. most likely switched from the 'on' supply for the ignition.
