gq ute with leaf springs front and rear

was up, has anyone ever seen a red gq ute with leafs front and rear? saw it at kings cliff yesterday fully deked out with lift kit bullbar and crome grill. My question why put leafs under front?
kaylee 2004 hdj78 RV. 33 mickey atz's, winchbar, 3i lift, 3i exhoust, spoties, roofracks and ufh. pimped interior .

I have only ever seen about 50 red GQ utes with leaf springs at all for corners. :roll:

the utes came with the option of leaf or coils - leaf have a greater load carrying ability

0k i wasn't aware it was a option i thought they all came with coils up front as standard.

ill agree with u.ive never seen a .......GQ....... with leafs on the front only on the rear if it was optioned instead of coils.....

They do exist. Last week, a mate had a 1998 GQ (was first registered in 98, but assembled in 97) ute with leafs all round in his workshop to fix fuel pump leak. A rare beast over here, but the certainly do exist.

i know early GU utes had the option of leaf front aswell, not sure if they still offer it.

Yes they are about!
I had to get a front tail shaft off a leaf sprung GQ ( It has a Cardinal Joint ) to sort out a vib / noise issue I was having after lifting my GQ wagon
