needing a 30mm front bump stop spacer, and a 50mm rear, but we offset the rear bump stop spacer, when fitting it to the diff, so at slow articulation, where the shock has an internal lock, that wont damage it, the bump stop can travel down beside the spacer, but at speed, the car will use the bump stop spacers, on the bump stops.
Lifted up the patrol gq wagon 5 inch and have never got around to lengthening bumpstops.

Was wondering if anyone could post up pictures of spacers or any other methods of doing it.

Im also assuming that i should lengthen them by 5 inch?

i could take shocks off and measure them at full compression them give them an inch extra on bumpstop distance to allow for squash?

One for 4wd stuff: how long is a dobinson shock on compression for a 4-5 inch patrol lift?

cheers in advance

we allow 30mm for bump stop crush, but with the Ridepro comp shocks, we have found, with the hyd lock when fully compressed, the rear bump stops can be offset when mounted on the diff housing to catch the rubber at speed in the rear, but allow the rubber to go down beside the spacer at slow articulation where the hyd lock in the shock can work.

We use a spacer bolted to the diff housing inside the spring for the front bump stop.
