what motor after blowing up a 1600?

Post by --sinner-- »

my friend went to fraser recently, and cracked the head on his carby vitara 1600 motor in his sierra. now hes been quoted 1300 to swap his motor for a new one, and he's considering what other options he could have, as 1300 bucks for a crappy old 1.6, plus a swap, seems a bit on the dodge side, any ideas??

Is the rest of the motor ok? If so, just hunt around for another head from either a 1.3 or 1.6.
