On my HZJ 75, the front passenger side shackle is on a funny angle, and a mate with a lot more knowlege than me said it could be the locating pin for the spring pack.
Last week end i broke that shakle and we replaced it but it is still on the angle which is why he said it could be the locating pin, does any body know what size the pin is? , cause i want to fix this on the week end but once the spring comes off the truck i can't drive it
.

go to donkyatt or a spring place and ask them for one for a hzj75, they will know the size.
even if your locator pin is in the wrong place, the spring distance and arch of the springs are what determines shackle angle... (for/aft angle anyway)
what "angle" is it on?
could be spring bushings. check them at the solid mount end

Thank's mate i'll be ringing them in a minute.
The shackle is leaning to left at the bottom of the shackle, the rubber's are newish and where fine when we replaced the brocken shakle.
I have no idea about leaf sprung truck's at all so you're advise is most welcome

ahh side to side. could be the spring pin.
if i were you i'd get some new U bolts as well, and make sure their tight when you put it back together.
other than that, make sure the springs aren't bent or twisted when you've got them out

i'd get a new pack. or if it's just the main leaf, get a new main leaf made.
i dunno if it'd make that much difference, but these things hold your axles on at 110k's an hour... don't wanna skimp
