Have a double cardan that will not work on the angle I want it.
I did not realise that different d/c's have different operating angles.

Looking to do this mod but don't want to stuff the D/C which I paid good money for.

Anyone done this mod. feedback?

on a leafy you can just tilt the rear diff to be perpendicular to the driveshaft using wedges.

The d/c is at the transfer end.
changing diff / pinion angle will not have any affect on transfer case angle.

Thats a very big angle.

It does by bringing the pinion level up higher. The pinion needs to be pointing at the t'f output anyway for the DC to work properly.

I do understand the priciples of the d/c shaft and yes my pinion is pointing straight at my transfer case.

The angle at the transfer is proportional to the hight diference between the transfer case and the pinion.

So yeah your right, if you point it higher the transfer angle will reduce but bugger all.
Second I can't change that as it is set correct already.

any feedback on this mod would be great thanks.

And a Warning to those purchasing a d/c. They are not all created equal.
There was a post about this a while ago. I did not read it till after I bought mine unfortunately. :bad-words:

the mod will not give u very much at all trust me my driveline runs at 37.5 degrees the only way to fix is to rotate diff to suit as well as the mod i am in the process of rotating the swivel hubs on my gq diff
