Clutch help needed

I am having problems with my clutch. :bad-words: When stopped at lights with clutch depressed or after backing down a long driveway balancing the clutch, i go to select gear or disengage gear and it is really hard to pop out of gear. If i pump the clutch a few times it works fine.

I think it could be the slave cylinder. Master is dry and not droping any fluid. Replaced entire cluths plates etc about 250km ago so its not that. I think it could be loosing pressure at the slave cylinder during long periods of having my foot on clutch. Like a bypass valve or something. Any Help??? :? Has anyone had this before? How do i fix it and what is a slave cylinder for a 94 22r lux worth?? Thanks

Make sure its been bled properly first, then pop off the slave's rubber boot to see if any fluid is leaking past the seal.

P.S. The slaves are worth fark all, i bought an almost identical one for my corolla for less than $20.

it will either be the slave cylinger which is a cheap job or the clutch master, if theres no fluid around the slave chec underneath your dash near the top of the pedal and outside on your booster your bound to find something

You could try flushing the gearbox aswell, I had a similar problem on my lux a while ago, flushed the gearbox and changed the slave cylinder (which i think is around $38) and it made a big difference.
worth a try

cheers
Dan.
