How much for a clutch for a Frontera?

Post by Kramer »

My sister has a 2000 Holden frontera and is getting quotes of over $600 for a clutch kit!

Anyways she needs one real bad anyone got any ideas! She isn't real good with cars and can't tell me much but she is saying that they can also be rebonded, like what you used to be able to do with brake pads? Anyone heard of that for clutch plates?

I told her not to buy the heap of crap as well! :bad-words:

Kramer,

The clutch kit for my 98 Rodeo was $550. This included the resurfacing of the fly wheel, the plate, pressure plate and thust bearing, so $600 is probably not out of the ball park.

Cheers
