Has anyone tried modifying or at least fitting a barrier to a GU that suits another vehicle?
The only reason I ask is I'm thinking of getting something else and making the brackets to suit.
Ebay for example - A Barrier for a GU will go for $250-$360 but a barrier for anything else like a hiace etc $50-$100!
It's nice to have a perfect fit but...

Some things aren't worth skimping on.
A few months ago we had a vehicle from out club go off the track and roll numerous times, 80 meters down a steep embankment. i have no doubt that the cargo barrier saved their lives. Not only did it keep the gear in the back, but it acted as a rool bar and stopped the roof from collapsing.
If your going to the 'bother' of fitting a cargo barrier, then get one made and designed for your vehicle. Yours, and others lifes are worth it.
