Post by kegz »

hey im jst wondering if you can get away with ust using a flattened u bolt to get a clearance between the drag linka nd u bolt on an 87 ln65 hilux. the one currently fitted it standard and has had an angle grinder taken to it. if not what is my cheapest option to get me out of trouble cheers

yes i have done this not long ago. all we did was heated the drag link a little and bent it up just a little bit. we just heated it with the oxy then got the jack and jacked it up with a piece of steel on the jack pushing on the heating area. hope this helps
