Saw a set of Pacemaker extractors on ebay for $460 or there abouts.
Has anyone put extractors on their V6 and did it improve performance much?
cheers

Sudso,
I have Genie Extractors through to a 2.5 inch Lukey system and high flow Magna VRX Cat and Muffler.
At the same time i had this done i put coopers 840mm tyres on so i lost some starting torque however the car absolutely screams from 3000 rpm. Before the exhausts i could feel the power curve drop off after 4500-5000rpm however now with the high flow system it pulls all the way though.
Apart from this it sounds fantastic.
I was concerned that it had adversley affected my fuel consumption - hence my previous post question however even with this exhaust mod and bigger tyres i am still getting 440kms with a tank which seems about right compared with what you guys told me....

So, more mid to high rpm power then.
Just curious how much your system cost all up.
Is yours the 3.2 or 3.5?
My 3.2 pulls well from 3000 to 5000 too

Just want it to do it a bit quicker

I put a 2.5 inch exaust on mine from the cat. back, all so have a pod air filter. made a huge difference. she starts pulling from 2500 right through to 6500. on a dirt road it'll spin 33's no worries.

Sudso,
Mate in relation to cost...it was a funny story... I actually had planned to replace the exhaust with a bog standard one however soon found out from my local holden dealer that it was not possible to get statndard parts as it was a SWB. As a result they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg.
I then got a few quotes from some guys here in brisvegas. The best guys in terms of price and service was Speedy Exhausts

I think my total system cost me around 1000 bucks fitted..not sure it may have been cheaper than this..
Mine is the 3.2lt
Have a good weekend boys

Did you have an "exhaust restrictor" (perforated round plate) in the Y piece just before the cat and did you remove it?
K & N filter is it?

Thats a reasonable price for a whole system.

I had an exhaust guy confirm the restrictor thing is in the 3.5 L V6 of the RA rodeo.
Still not sure if its worth while having it removed or not.

Have heard they are in 3.2 Rodeo and Jacks too but I haven't checked mine yet.
There is a thread on this a few weeks back.
