Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Howdy guys, i have a gq swb import and when its idling the battery and fuel filter lights are on but only dim, the alternators charging ok and the batteries are fine,they go out after about 1200 rpm, does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? cheers

If the charge light is glowing your regulator is trying to bump up the field current to generate sufficient voltage at idle.

Loose fan belt?
Dodgy regulator?
Dodgy connection creating a high resistance joint somewhere?
