Post by bunjey »

Looking at buying 100 series turbo diesel , wanting to know pro's and cons with buying second hand . Fuel consumption, reliability, running costs ,ect. And what would be a reasonable price for one with average kms and average condition .

Thankyou

The 100 IFS with afew easy mods is a great touring vehicle, and nice on road.

PM me if you want details on those mods.

Also you could go to www.lcool.org and subscribe to the 100scool email list, where there are any number of happy owners of 100 [ifs] and 105 [RFA] owners who could give you allot of good info, and I even think there is a fuel usage chart in the email groups files section, or tech section.

dont buy a 100 series if you intend to do hard 4wding as this the front diff is total shit. i have broken 3 diffs in 6 months. even my toyota mates can't believe how weak the diff is. nissan boys just laugh at the king off road in action. otherwise a great 4wd.
