ok, i have found a wrecked 96 model roza down here in Esperance.
i want the first exhaust section from the manifold flange to the end of the cat. the guy wants $100 for it, does that sound ok or a bit rich?

Have you tried an exhaust place? Apart from the flanges and oxy sensor mount it shouldn't be too hard to make one from normal exhaust tubing.

I got one from the manifold (not the manifold just pipe) to the tip for $80, but that was for a rocky. Would have thought roza parts be easier to comeby and therefore cheaper.... having said that, before i got the whole pipe my local muffler shop redid the bit from manifold to muffler box for just under 100 from memory.

havnt been there yet, just wanted to get a cheap 2nd hand original so i can just 'bolt' it on easily myself before i change my rego over. (02 sensor is on manifold, so i dont need to worry about that).

thanks for the replies guy's.

Genuine parts, who does them in Perth? in bundaberg it was the Toyota dealership. time to break out the yellow pages i spose. :)

Gday mate i am not too sure on the cheapest dahatsu wrecker in perth but i know that if there is something you are looking for Daiparts are good. They have helped me out with some obscure bits and deal with new parts and second hand.

Daiparts 08 94434200

393 Scarborough Beach Road Osbourne Park

Good luck mate let me know if you find any good wreckers around its always good to try a few options before you settle for an offer.
