Hey there... A mate of mine wants to buy a Feroza. He's after a wide body. Is there such a thing or do you just put different offset rims and flares on a standard Feroza?
Also any common probs he should be looking for?
Cheers any help would be great!

Referred to as a Widetrack, designated as a Feroza II. First models in 93 were an SXP but later switched to being called an SX. Mechanically essentially the same apart from the front suspension being spaced wider apart and the rear axle being wider to offer a wider wheel track. Also being the "luxury" model, they are fully equipped with everything.

Model Codes : Widetrack are F310, Narrowtrack are F300.
F310 have plastic guard flares and a larger track than the other. Also more luxury items as said due to them being a later model.
There are also other mechanical differences like suspension, because part catalogues specify F300 or F310 models.

You can wind up the front torsion bars and put some lifted leaf springs in the rear and gain around 50mm easily. (A lot of people take leaves from other cars which is a lot cheaper)
Some good tyres would then help your cause.. most go for about the 30x9.5x15 size tyre.
Other mods are some extractors and free flowing exhaust which is easy to get done. A snorkel can also be beneficial although it is a custom job.
These mods increases the power and torque and the lift and tyres also makes it a lot better offroad.
Overall, theyre a good little offroad truck...although there isnt all that many off the shelf mods available.

Just be careful as some F300 narrow tracks had the flares front and rear too; it can be hard to pick the difference if you're not familiar and don't have them side by side.

Sweet, thanks alot. Sounds familiar to the Pajero, just on a smaller scale. We also run Torsion bar front end. What tyre size can you get up to with say the 2in lift, before they scrub out? Would you fit a set of 31" or 32" muddies?
Also is it possible to do a body lift? If so how hard?
Sorry about all the questions guys... he's really keen to get one!!

I have a narrow Track, will WideTrack Flares fit on it?
