Funny you should mention this. The truck was delivered by Toyota and hasn't been registered yet so not sure how the warranty will work.
The transfer was easy once we moved the pumkin to the other side of the diff.
They have made a few little changes to the rear diff as well Standard ratio is 3.5 axles are longer as the track difference front to rear was only 5mm
and the rear centre has a bigger diameter spline on the pinion and tailshaft hole centres are the same as a 60 series. And after driving today after putting 4.1 ratio in the rear to match the front and in low range there is a shit load of reduction so will check tomorrow but i would guess low range ratio may be lower than the older models.

They would get no warranty on the front diff, suspension, tail shaft or diff gears, other then that all other warranty should still apply as it is up to toyota to prove that the mods made the "problem/s", it is NOT up to the customer to prove that the mods didn`t cause the "problems".
If the turbo died, it has nothing to do with the tyres or the front diff.
If the gearbox died it would be up to toyota to prove that the bigger tyres made it die.

Okay I will answer some of the questions.
We did the work for the owner its not our truck.
It runs full 80 series front end including radius arms, steering box, coil towers panhard. It also runs a Dobbin Engineering Crosslink very similar to Chads.(professor).
Cost wise as its not totally finished so its hard to be exact but it will be around the $10000 mark.
When it is finished we will post up some pics of it in action.
