i've had my zook for about 6 months or so, and i just got my licence so I am driving it a bit more now, always noticed leaves inside it, always getting in the way, blowing all over me.

Today i turned it on and got a face full of dust and leaves. Any ideas on how to take out the front vents to access the leaves??

They're like corn in your vomit - just always there.

LOL

infront of the windscreen on the top of the bonnet theres a heap of vent holes... these lead into the internal system...

you think leaves are bad - wait till it fills with sand/mud and water comes pouring out all over ur feet and fuse box =P

just keep those vents clean and youll be right (i use a butter-knife to smash crap down the firewall vents to clean it out... its messy, but works!)

Use a vacuum cleaner to suck the leaves out of the vents inside and out side between the bonnet and the windscreen.

i just stuck some black tape over the vents near the bonnet. this means no more muddy wet carpet/ feet/ fuse box and still able to have a heater. dont need a cold vent either, thats what windows are for

you should be able to pull the vents out, they when you have em pointed straight, back , you can see the 2 clips in side. If i get camera and spare time, i might send photos, of it.
But that is how to remove the vent, others have advised how to stop em in the first place.

check out this site

this will fix your problem. After that is done put some type of screen in the cowl to keep the leaves out. Or install a cowl scoop and add a screen to that. You'll have better flowing heat and cleaner breathing.
