Bigger diff centre, typically 1 ltr units have 4.11 gears in em 1.3 ltr diffs normally have 3.73 or 3.9 gears (3.9's are far less common than 3.73's)rumble wrote:Whats the difference bewteen the 1ltr and 1.3 ltr diifs?

How many do you want? They came out in every 1.3L NT zook in OZ. I can get them at the drop of a hat
1 litres have a smaller housing, smaller centre, smaller axles and CV's, and the early ones were full time 4wd ( No manual locking hubs) and they also had drum brakes front and back. They are the same width as NT 1.3 diffs.
Some people reckon the smaller 1 litre CV's are actually stronger than the newer 1.3 CV's..........
