F60 rebuild

A month ago I started fixing up my F60 Scat.
I redone the head on the motor six months ago and pull out the gearbox (5spd) for a complete rebuild a couple of weeks ago. It is on it's way back after costing me $2700.
The roof section was pretty much natckered so I removed it with a lot of drama (been removed before because of a accident or something). I managed to pick up a F50 (missing motor and some front panels) to replace the roof section with for nothing (the owner was going to dump it anyway). With a fair bit of rust to be repaired plus a new paint job, I hope to have it back on the road in two to three weeks time.
For a bit of info for Daihatsu people:
F20 and F50 vehicles have ribbed roofs while F60's do not for some reason.
The F60's have different roof support beams than earlier models.
B pillar (next to the seats) is not bolted in the F60's unlike the F20's and F50's.
There are some slight differences in the roof section than earlier models with the F60's. The reason I can come up with is either to do with styling or to make it cheaper to build?
Go figure???
Hopefully to post pictures soon. Wont be able to post many as I do not have a website.
