Hi all,

I was faced with a problem when driving home from a trip to victoria. When I slowed down in my zook, a violent rattling noise was evident from underneath the car... A sharp clicking sound also was present, but that is now dissappeared after I replaced the uni-joints on the rear driveshaft.

The whole car starts to grumble and rattle when I exceed 80 km's / hr...

I am not sure what the problem is exactly, but I know the noise if coming from the rear part of the car.... I am not sure if it is the driveshaft, but it sounds close to proximity to it...

Has anyone had any trouble like this???

Please help,

Thanks guys.

PS: I have a 86 NT 1.3 sierra

U tried jacking the car up and spinning drivetrain?

could be a number of things. eg wheel bearings, pinion seal area or driveshaft.

Was the driveshaft put back in, in phase?

cheers
