if you've got a good LSD at the rear, then just simply go a front air locker.

For the ultimate setup - lockright at the rears and airlockers at the front would be nice.

Thou ive herad a lot of people say that puttin a locker on the front doesnt do justice for the steering. And havin it in the rear makes it a tad easier to turn when 4x4ing but often can end up drivin the car straight ahead on a mud strip instead of turning in the direction you want.

I have a ezylocker in the front of my hilux. I used to run it without power steer and was very difficult to turn. But now i have power steer, it turns sooooooooo much easier. I run an open rear & have not been stuck to many places. I personnaly think the locker in the front will pull the vehicle over obstacles better.

PUT IT IN THE FRONT if you have power steer you wont regret it.

do you already have the lockright ? diffs are different front to rear, not like some tojo's.

hmmm, hard to choose, one the one hand the lsd is like half a difflock so you get better traction with a front locker/ rear LSD than you do with a rear locker only.
On the other hand, front lockrights seem to be very hard on CV's.
If it was an airlocker i would say definately put it in the front.
just my 2.2C worth [includes GST]

you can rarely use a front locker unless you are rockcrawling

front locker, lots of ooomph and turning the wheel = broken cv's

i have twin arb's and fitted the front first but never got to use it , so i went back and bought a rear which i use all the time.
