when you adjust them do you always make sure you fold one edgem of the locking washer over the nut. Id assume you do, a mate was having the same problem in his MQ with a welded fron diff, so hes upgraded to the GU style with the locking screws, ill ask him if this helps.

MQ's run two locking nuts with a lock washer between them . its SUPA vital to fold the lock washer over both nuts and make sure they are down tight on the nuts. I found that the wheel bearings came loose after only 30k's on the passenger side and a mate totaled a brand new set of bearings on the drivers side in 200k's after the nuts "self" tightened onto the bearing, took me 2 hours to "carefully" oxy the remains away b4 new bearings could be fitted !

have you put on new lock washers? If not, the 'tab' on the inside of the washer may be riding up onto the thread, instead of staying seated in the groove on the spindle. this would allow the nuts to loosen/tighten through normal use.

Im running new tab washers and are folding the tabs both ways so that both nuts have the tab washer on them a mate is running 2 tab washers and folding 2 lips both ways was wondering if the late modle version ones would be better

How big tyres are you running?
35's and bigger require more regular checks.
Every day I have 4wd's coming in with problems, shakes from elsewhere mis diagnoised etc. 9 times out of 10 loose bearings. Other than that loose body mounts.
