Perhaps some more information on your vehicle may help get a more accurate answer.

Are you sure CUTZOOK?
Jimny's are to the best of my knowlegde 4.09 or 4.3 geared and do not come with a LSD in any case.
There might have been a 3.9 but to find a 3.9 with a factory LSD would be almost impossible.
There was an aisin-warner factory optional LSD that approximately nobody bought for the sierra as it was about $1200. I was aware of these available from third parties in the early 90's, but the price kept people away from what was a pretty ineffective LSD. Once the airlocker was launched for the Sierra, there was really no point to look for an LSD IMHO.
I have never come across a sierra with an LSD in 13 years.

There was/is a factory option LSD in japan for sure. Finding one with the right ratio (1.3's are rare in japan, even for jimny's) would be so hard unless you knew what to look for and where to get it that as a general rule, I would say it's not worth pursuing. - for the hassle, I would always go a locker (anyway, trailtough mini spools are only US$99
)

Just call Trail Tough and get a Mini Spool or get it welded, much cheaper and doing u turns in carparks and servos really piss people off.
Under A$600 for Lockright and Mini Spool landed and another $400 to fit. Various bits and pieces stuffed here and there, previous owner a bit slack with mainaining.

I got an LSD, Suzisport Springwood fitted yesterday.
DLocked drive systems i think used to do em out of sydney, but not enough sales to make it worth supporting still.
Mines a secondhand of little known providence, yet to try it out in anger.

my import 87 LWB SJ51 sierra originally had an LSD but the previous owner turfed it when it was stuffed. Could probably find many others in Japan with em I would think.
