when these pitman arms r assembled there is a lip hangin of the pitman arm and a cap is inserted into this and then that lip is pressed over to stop it comming appart, me thinks ya might have to track down a standard pitman arm with a tapered hole in the end.

Im actually trying to chase down an 80 series pitman arm, but the wreckers wont sell them unless I buy the whole box as well.

Give Landy Spares in Silverdale a ring, I got a 80 of them for $100, ended up swapping it though for a 70, so they may still have it.

the top arm on the box is the 2wd arm
the middle one is a fj80 arm
and the bottom one is a toy 4wd arm

Got this pic from...

Im looking for a flat pitman arm that will go straight onto a solid axle box, the 2wd one looks the goods, but i believe there is some modifying to do. Are the splines on IFS and solid axle boxes the same? if not are solid axle boxes the same as 2wd boxes? :?

Also anyone got pics of the 70 and 75 series arms? and know what they will bolt up to?

You need a Diahatsu Rocky steering arm. They are the same spline but i think they have a master spline. You either file the extra spline with a triangle file or remove it with a dia grinder. Im pretty sure this arm is totaly flat.

Im also pretty confident that the 2wd arm is a different spline.
