diff breathers

Ok, probably a really easily answered and kinda dumb question, but thought I'd ask before I unnecessarily rip half the front end apart to find the answer.
I've put on extended diff breathers. The one to the rear diff was fine, but where is the front diff breather?
The workshop manual reckons there's 4 hoses near the front diff.
2 go to the actuator, 1 goes to the vacuum tank, and the last is the breather, which is meant to run along the top of the axel to the passenger side. I only have 3 of them.
Upon sticking my hand as far as it will fit, I can't feel any breather.
It's on a '93 NH GLS V6.
Thanks guys!

It runs up the right hand inner guard on mine near the other vacuum lines and looks like a vacuum line with a cap on it.

It's on the battery side of the diff pumpkin. Just a black plastic knob about the size of a 3rd of a roll of fruit tingles.

Ah thanks guys!
Glenn_C - That sounds like how the book reckons it's meant to be. Mine's different for some reason.
Greggo - Very technical and very useful. I'll have another dig around. I knew it had to be there somewhere! Thanks champ.
Noisey - Thanks for that link. Now I at least know what I'm looking for.

Extend the line with a packet of snakes joined end to end and use a lollipop for the filter.

HAHAHA....
All done, complete with moisture traps
. Takes the breather to JUST short of touching the bonnet.
What a weirdo little breather the front diff has tho!
Justs waiting on those little filters that screw into the top of the moistude traps. Might even get rid of the traps when I get filters.

what did you do with the front breather?

Pulled the black plastic cap and the little metal cap off the front breather, leaving the nylon bit in place. Just happened to have a connector that fit very tightly over the remanining part of the breather, and into the end of the hose. Hose clamped it all together and sealed it with gasket-goo, just to make sure.
I'm not sure what the connector was originally off. Just one of those things lying around. I got a feeling it was a part off a Pulsar I once pulled apart. It kinda looks like a really big jet out of a carby (a hollow bolt with an internal thread at one end).

Now come on Noisey, that's just stupid. It's much better if you use sherbert straws. Snakes don't have holes in the middle, duh!!
