coilovers for a GQ coilcab

I am going to start building up a coilcab. my previous rig had 6inch coil lift, but i am thinking about getting some coilovers. I am after info from anyones in the know about pros and cons to coilovers and also with brand and lenth i should be looking at. i want to setup the GQ to run 36-38s.....
